• Menu display while framing possible during shooting: Two types of information display modes are available - "Normal mode" to display major information in large characters and "Detailed mode" to display all available information
• Max. 14X Close-up Display for Checking Recorded Images in Detail: During single-frame playback, the recorded image can be magnified up to 14 times so you can easily check focus or reflections. Pressing the INFO button displays a square box on the screen that outlines the section currently zoomed in
• High-Precision Macro Live View (Mode B): Eliminates focusing difficulties to ensure easier, more accurate Macro shooting with manual focus
• Depth of field can be confirmed on the LCD monitor without darkening. In viewfinder shooting, the depth of field may be darkened. However with the E-330, you can accurately preview the depth of field on the large, high-resolution LCD monitor without darkening. This makes easy to check the blurring effecting portraits and other types of creative photographic expression
• Newly Developed 7.5-Megapixel 4/ 3-inch Live MOS Sensor: Fusion of full-frame transfer CCD and CMOS image sensors provides high-sensitivity, high-speed processing and lower noise with lower power consumption. With a wide light reception area the same size as that used in CCDs, images with a wide dynamic range and full gradations can be captured. Low-noise processing and deeper diode layout greatly reduce image graininess. High-quality images with full gradations are achieved in combination with TruePic TURBO image processing engine
• Hybrid Infrared Filter: To eliminate the reddish flare that can be caused by infrared rays, the E-330 employs a hybrid infrared cut filter that combines an infrared-absorbing glass filter with a dichroic mirror that reflects infrared rays with sharp cutoff characteristics that result in superior colour reproduction capability with greater purity
• 49-Point Light Metering: The E-330 incorporates the 49-point light-metering sensor employing a hybrid metering system in which an active-pixel system is used for low luminance metering and an integrated amp is used for high luminance metering. This system ensures a wide dynamic range enabling accurate, high-speed light metering
• High-Speed Sequential Shooting enables high-speed sequential shots at 3 FPS
• 31 Shooting Modes - More than any other Digital SLR: The E-330 comes with an extensive selection of 31 shooting modes. In Easy mode (Scene), a sample image and simple explanation are displayed to make it easier to choose the right scene mode
